Ethan Downing (Co-Director)

Ethan Downing is an actor and independent theater and film producer in New York City.  He is a co-founder of No Jacket Required, and currently finishing his M.S. in Conflict Resolution and Negotiation at Columbia University, where he is a fellow at the Advanced Consortium on Cooperation, Conflict, and Complexity (AC4).  Recent projects include the award winning NYC International Fringe Festival play "Confirmation" (Outstanding Actor Award), and Philip Dorling's short film "Predisposed" (Official Selection: Sundance; Woodstock Film Festival) with Academy Award nominated Melissa Leo.  He is currently in production directing a documentary on child-trafficking in NYC (snakeheadthefilm.com).  More information can be found on ethandowning.net.
 

Rob Nguyen (Co-Director, Editor)

Rob is a co-founder of production company No Jacket Required, and has worked as editor for a number of the company's web series and behind-the-scenes featurettes. Rob is also a producer with the Hipgnosis Theatre Company, and worked as lighting designer on their productions of Macbeth and The Caucasian Chalk Circle. Rob would like to thank everyone involved in "Second Glance" for a great first short film experience, and for a really fun day in the park. Rob is also currently producing and assistant directing a film on child trafficking with No Jacket Required (snakeheadthefilm.com).
 

Joe DelPiore (Author of Original Work, "The Gulf")

Joe attended Rutgers (BA English) and taught for a number of years.  He began writing and being published in 1982.  He later moved on to theater writing in mid nineties, and has had readings, workshops and productions in NY and NJ. He has a column in his local paper.  He recently had his first collection of stories, "Twilight People: Switchblade Stories," published (available at amazon.com).  Joe has been published in many venues over 500 times as a freelancer.
 

Willie Breeding (Composer, "Broken Kinda Way")

A Kentuckian by birth, blood and basketball, Willie Breeding has called Brooklyn home since 2005. In that time he has released the "Grey Skies EP" and his full length debut, "Cheap Vodka Rain" (available on iTunes). He has also toured the east coast, bringing his brand of country-rock to millions. Most recently he has been transformed by the arrival of John Calipari as the new head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats. Currently Willie and his sister Erin Breeding are recording an album with producer Vince Emmett outside of Nashville.

Drew Downing (Sound, Lighting)

Drew Downing has been working with No Jacket Required since he came to NYC in 2009.  He is currently working as sound technician on their latest project.
